🚒🏆The cross country team will have a fire truck escort through town. They will be meeting in front of the high school at approximately 4:15.
🔴⚫️🔴Cross Country Lady Mules and Grant Jennette are both headed to state! Lady Mules finish 5th overall! It is the first time in school history for the Lady Mules cross country team to qualify for the state meet as a team. Grant finishes 14th. This is Grants 3rd time in a row to qualify as an individual! Way to go Mules and Lady Mules!
Congratulations to Mrs. Kiefer's seminar class for winning the pumpkin decorating contest sponsored by FCCLA. We had some great pumpkins this year! It was a close race!
Regional Championship game is tomorrow!
FCHS students have the opportunity this afternoon to visit different college and career booths to find out more information. A huge shout out goes to Mrs. Pearce and Mrs. Biggs for organizing today and helping connect students to future career and college opportunities!

College and Career week is off to a great start! Today was college shirt day. We look forward to welcoming many different presenters, colleges, and trades tomorrow for our college and career fair!

Anne Kelly and Grady Simpson recently attended Senator Bryant's 2024 Fall Youth Advisory Council, where they had a hands-on opportunity to dive into government.
Divided into groups, they pitched innovative legislation ideas and presented them to the entire assembly, voting on which proposals to advance. The winning idea will be the focus of a mock committee hearing this spring in Springfield, where students will take on various roles in the legislative process, from lawmakers to lobbyists.
We can't wait to see these future leaders in action!

The Career Explorations Class has been very busy! They have attended the WVC College and Career Fair and got the chance to take a look at some culinary occupations at Country Boc's Inc. and Schwartz Orchard in Centralia recently.
The 2024 Fairfield Invitational is this Saturday, 10/26! Admission is $5 for the day. Come out and support the Lady Mules!

⭐Oct. 28-Nov 1, 2024.
⭐Over the course of the week, all students will take part in career and future planning activities. Activities will consist of dress up days, pennant decorating for their future plans, a College & Career Fair, and community service events, such as a Blood Drive and Socktober(collecting socks to give to Hurricane Relief). The highlight of the week will be the College and Career Fair held on Tuesday, October 29th. Each student has selected 4 speaker sessions, out of 128 available sessions, to attend for the morning of the fair. After lunch, over 65 colleges and business/industry programs will be represented in the fair held in the FCHS Mule Barn.
⭐Our goal is to help connect students to a career that they will love!
