📣 Test Day is Almost Here! 📣 🗓️ Thursday, April 24th is the big day! All juniors will be taking the ACT, Sophomores the PreACT Secure, and Freshmen the PreACT 9 — make sure you’re: ✅ On time ✅ Well-rested ✅ Ready to crush it! 💪 🕗 Be at school by regular start time — testing will begin promptly, and late arrivals may not be admitted to their assigned testing room. ⏰ EARLY DISMISSAL after testing — students will be released once testing is complete and instructions are given. Approximately 1:00pm Dismissal. Lunch will be available in the cafeteria. Busses will run at approximately 1:30pm

🔌💻 CHROMEBOOKS + CHARGERS = MUST-HAVES TOMORROW! 💻🔌 Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors (and parents who help keep ‘em on track 😉) — Tomorrow, we’re prepping for testing, and that means EVERY student (except seniors) needs to bring: ✅ Chromebook ✅ Charger 🌟You will be turning them into your testing room tomorrow (Wednesday 4/22) to prepare for testing on Thursday. 🌟 Do Future You a favor and set a reminder right now: 📱 “Hey Siri/Google, remind me to pack my Chromebook and charger!”

On Sunday, the music department dazzled the community with a spectacular spring concert, featuring standout performances by the band, show choir, and rock band. The afternoon showcased the incredible talent and hard work of our student musicians! 📸Thank you Rob Lingafelter for the wonderful photos!

🌟 What an absolutely amazing day students from the art department had at Norris City! A huge shoutout to NCOE for organizing a fantastic chalk contest. 🎨 We are so proud of the FCHS teams who participated! Jeanne and Cap truly went above and beyond with their hard work and high expectations, achieving outstanding results a giant hippo floating in a bubble bath, so creative! Every single student put in tremendous effort, and it was such a joy to see them all shine! 😄

Mrs. Smith’s Intro to Agriculture spent much of March studying the poultry industry. Their baby chicks finally hatched and are bringing lots of joy!

This evening we had the honor of recognizing seniors that have maintained a 3.5 GPA or higher at the annual Scholastic Banquet. Students were surrounded by family, staff, and board members to celebrate their achievements and future goals! Congratulations!

This week is shaping up to be another busy one at FCHS. Spring Break is almost here!

The Mule Barn was filled with blue and gold this evening as The Fairfield FFA Chapter held their annual banquet. Congratulations to all the FFA members on an excellent year! A special congratulations to the retiring officers, new officers, degree winners, and award winners.

Boys tennis vs. Newton today (4/10) has been cancelled.

Mrs. Kirk's PE Pickleball Champs! Students competed with classmates in singles and in doubles.

Washington, DC Parent Meeting on April 16th We will be holding a parent meeting for the Washington, DC trip on April 16th at 7:00 PM in the multipurpose room. Please mark your calendars and plan to attend. Please use Door 2 to enter the building.

💃PROM UPDATE💃 Due to the extreme amount of rain, the prom line-up will be moved into the FCHS gymnasium. The info below is specifically for students attending the prom line up. 🪩You may start arriving at the High School at 4:30 PM. 🪩Students MUST park in the teacher parking lot on College Street and the back student gravel parking lot. 🪩Wait in your car until a valet brings you an umbrella or come into the building if you have an umbrella. 🪩Students and dates will not be allowed to enter Willow Creek until 6:30pm 🔴Check your Class of 2025 for detailed instructions for prom line-up🔴

Guests will have the lower bleachers and the northeast and northwest upper bleachers for viewing. ✨Gym Opening: The gym lobby doors will open to the public at 4:30. ✨Broadcasting: Mule Nation will be broadcasting the event. ✨Willow Creek: Public is not allowed at Willow Creek after 4:00pm
