We’ve got a full week of fun planned, including dress-up days all week long, Battle of the Classes on Wednesday, the Homecoming Parade on Friday, the game Friday night, and the Homecoming Dance on Saturday night.
It’s going to be a fun week at FCHS! Let’s make the most of it and show our Mules pride!

Homecoming week is here!
It was a busy day in the science wing! Chemistry explored properties of liquids and solids today while investigating non Newtonian liquids. Biology completed an acid base lab.
🔨 Students had a great time at the Trades Industry Expo!
Students got the chance to explore different careers in the trades and get some hands-on experience along the way. Some even put in the effort and made the climb up the steel beam! 💪

Mrs. Smith's Landscape Design & Turfgrass Management class traveled to Patoka, IN today to visit Grassmasters Sod Farm. Students had the rare opportunity to see the growth, harvest, and transport of various turfgrasses. Grassmasters is the supplier of football field turf for the Indianapolis Colts, and IU Bloomington as well as many other pro and collegiate athletic fields.
This was an exciting trip to experience the concepts learned in class out in the field!

💼 FCHS Business students had the opportunity to attend a presentation at the University of Southern Indiana featuring Kevin O’Leary from Shark Tank.
Students heard from the entrepreneur and investor and got a chance to hear about business, entrepreneurship, and what it takes to be successful.

Pepperoni roll-ups were on the menu in the culinary lab, and they were a hit! 🍕 Students worked on time management, got creative with their plating, and made their food look almost too good to eat. Almost! We’re proud of their work!

Bass Fishing competed at Washington County Lake for their first fall tournament. Together Braxton and Oscar came home with third place and just missed first place by 4 ounces. Braxton also received the Big Bass Award for his bass that weighed 5 lbs. 6 oz.
