Anyone interested in playing girls’ basketball next year needs to come to a meeting today(Tues.) in the study hall after school.

Anyone interested in being on the cross country team next year should come to an informational meeting today(Tues.), after school, in Mr. Going’s room(106).

There will be a girls’ volleyball meeting after school tomorrow(Wed.) in the east gym.

The newly-elected 2012-13 Student Council members will have an organizational meeting tonight(Tues.) at 6:00 in the learning center. Officers for the next school year will be elected. Please plan to attend.

The FCHS Shooting Team and their parents are sponsoring a “meat shoot” on Sunday, May 20, at the Fairfield Gun Club at 1:00 P.M. A variety of shooting activities will take place. All proceeds go to funding the shooting competitions this summer. Team members and parents are also selling raffle tickets for two guns for $5 each to be given away on June 3.

Attention all students: This is a reminder to be sure and clean out your school locker, as well as your athletic locker, before the end of the school year. After school is out, all remaining articles will be given to charity.

There are numerous items in the “lost and found” box in the office. Check with the office if you’ve lost anything.

Registration for the 2012 Junior Tennis summer program(travel team) will be at Lake Side tennis courts on Friday, May 18, from 5-6:00 p.m. Registration can also be done at practice the following week. Practice will be each Monday and Thursday from 9:00-10:30. No practice on Memorial Day. The program is open for both boys and girls ages 8-18. Beginnners are welcome. Registration fee is $29.00. Practice will be held after registration for those able to stay. Contact Don Wood(842-2555) for more information.

Anyone who has an elevator key should remember to turn it in to Mrs. Kakac before leaving school for the summer.

Congratulations to the girls’ track relay team for advancing to the state competition this weekend in Charleston. Team members are Paige Simpson, Tristyn Courier, Caelyn Musgrave and Annie Pond. Good luck girls!!

Congratulations to the baseball team on their win last night over Lawrenceville! They will play Olney at Flora tomorrow(Wed.) at 4:30. Good luck, guys!
