David Savage, Superintendent

David Savage has been a school administrator for 25 years. He is in his seventh year as the superintendent of Fairfield Community High School District #225. Previously, Mr. Savage served as the superintendent / principal at the New Hope Community Consolidated School District #6 from 1998-2005. Mr. Savage also served as principal of the West Salem Grade School from 1991-1998, and as a principal and assistant principal in Texas from 1987-1991 in the Alvarado and Grand Prairie school systems.

Mr. Savage received his Educational Administration Specialist degree from Eastern Illinois University in August, 1997. He received his Masters in Education degree from the University of North Texas in December, 1988, and his Bachelors in Education degree from Eastern Illinois University in May, 1980.

His main goal at FCHS is to ensure every student gets the best educational opportunity possible.

Mr. Savage resides in Fairfield, with his wife, Donna. Mr. Savage is the pastor of the Community of Christ Church and is a member of the Fairfield Rotary Club, Frontier Community College Foundation Board, and the Mt. Vernon Children's Home Foundation Board.
