FBLA Collecting Funds for Juvenile Diabetes Research, Honoring Meredith Richards
The FBLA Chapter is conducting a money collection drive for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation in honor of Meredith Richards. Meredith is the sister of sophomore Caleb Richards, and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Brad Richards. Meredith’s mom, Michelle, teaches at FCHS. This is the third year the chapter has participated in this event. Students are encouraged to collect $25 to receive free pizza for lunch. On Friday, April 30 students will enjoy their pizza and walk around the track during their lunch hours. Pizza will also be available for sale for $2 a slice, which all money will go towards JDRF.
Anyone wanting to help out FBLA in this endeavor can send a donation to the school until May 14. Checks can be sent to 300 West King in care of FBLA. Information about donating online or information about JDRF can be found at www.jdrf.org. If you have any questions, please contact Lori Robson.
